Rates
My rate is $210 for a 60 minute session, but sliding scale ($130) is available, upon request.
I use a sliding scale model informed by Federal Poverty Guidelines, scaled to improve equitable access. Sliding scale fees are based on household income and family size, keeping therapy affordable (under 10% of income) at all levels.
My aim is to contribute to the accessibility of therapy by providing lower cost options.
Extended sessions (75, 90, and 120 minutes) available at all income levels.
Tier assignment happens during intake. All information is confidential.
No show/late cancellation fees are the price of a session.

I'm in-network with the following plans for telehealth sessions in Oregon and Washington; Regence BlueCross BlueShield; UnitedHealthcare / Optum / UBH; Aetna; PacificSource (not Oregon Health Plan); First Choice Health; Kaiser Permanente; Oregon Health Plan (Open Card only).
Josiah Erickson Counseling’s clinical administrative services are provided by a third party business, Real Life Counseling (RLC). Josiah Erickson Counseling has an active service agreement with RLC which renders RLC a Business Associate of Josiah Erickson Counseling. While RLC has written consent to provide clinical administrative services such as billing, referrals and other supportive functions on behalf of Josiah Erickson Counseling, the delivery of direct clinical services such as counseling sessions, consultations, etc. are provided exclusively by Josiah Erickson Counseling.
